How an analyst can review a therapy session

If you need to review therapy sessions, this guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to do so. It explains how to navigate to the review section and filter sessions. It also covers options for approving and signing, rejecting and commenting, or editing sessions. This guide is a useful resource for anyone involved in therapy sessions who needs to review and provide feedback.

Accessing the option "Revision"

1. To review a therapy session, you must log into the program using your username and password.

Navigate to:https://app.abamatrix.com/authentication/login

2. Upon entering the program, choose the "Review" option from the menu on the left. As an analyst, you will be presented with visits conducted by RBTs marked as "in review," signifying that these visits are awaiting your examination and approval.

Should there be any sessions awaiting your review, a notification will display on the side, showing the count of reviews pending. For instance, as depicted in the image, there are two therapy sessions pending review.

Filter sessions

3. Selecting the "Review" option will take you to a window displaying pending therapy sessions for review on the left side. At the top, you can filter the sessions by:

  • client
  • therapist
  • date order

View selected therapy session

4. On the right-hand side of the window, the selected therapy session is available for review.

At the top menu, the following options are provided:

Approve & Sign: Select this if the note under review fulfills the approval criteria. Once reviewed and approved, signing is required for the note to transition to the "completed" state.

Reject & Comment: Choose this if the note does not meet approval standards and needs amendments. This allows you to provide feedback for necessary changes.

A session rejected will move back from "in review" to "in progress." The RBT will be notified, can review your comments, make the necessary changes, and resubmit for approval.

Edit: This option enables you to edit any part of the documentation, daily logs, or data directly if modifications are needed.

Approve & Sign

5. Choosing the "Approve & Sign" option will open a window. Kindly sign inside the designated gray box and proceed to click the "Approve" button. Once you have signed and approved, the document will change to a "completed" status.

Reject & Comment

6. Choosing the "Reject & Comment" option will prompt a comment box to appear. Once you have entered your comment, you can finalize the process by clicking the "Reject" button.

The RBT will receive a notification, have the opportunity to review the comments and feedback, make the required changes, and resubmit the documentation for further review. Should the document be rejected, the session status will update from "in review" to "in progress."

Edit

7. Choosing the "Edit" option provides access to the documentation, daily logs, and all gathered data, enabling direct modifications and issue resolution. Once the required adjustments are made, press the "Submit" button located in the upper right corner of the interface.
